Ok, so I bought a swiss army knife. I wanna oil it. What oil do I use? Motor oil or what?

It just says oil.

The last time I was in Paris (two years ago) I loved putting together my own picnics at the different cheese, bread and wine shops. I can’t tell you how many times I said to myself "I wish I had my Swiss Army knife!"

I also remember the metal detectors at the Louvre and other attractions, though. Does anyone know if I’d get in touble for carrying a Swiss Army in my bag (about 3" closed)? I certainly don’t want to cause a scene every time I go into a public bldg.

The title says it all, but this kid dropped it on concrete, and now it’s really scratched up. I have a victorinox with the red plastic casing, is there a way to get scratches off of it?
