which present?

i’m torn between 2 gifts for my boyfriend’s birthday next week. we recently went out to the melting pot (his first time) and he absolutely loved it. but he is also a gadget geek and doesn’t have a swiss army knife. even i have a swiss army knife! (he collects knifes too). should i get this http://www.crateandbarrel.com/family.aspx?c=510&f=23038&q=fondue&fromLocation=Search&DIMID=400001&SearchPage=1 and cook him a surprise dinner or get him this http://www.amazon.com/Victorinox-Swiss-Army-SwissChamp-XAVT/dp/B000QGF986 ? should i just save the fondue thing for valentines day?

videso.webpronews.com Who would have thought to put a USB drive, laser pointer, and Bluetooth remote control into a Swiss Army knife? Well, conveniently enough, Victorinox Swiss Army did. The result is the Swiss Army Presentation Pro. In this video, Martin Kuster and Charles Elsener of Victorinox Swiss Army explain how this knife is now equipped with business necessities but still serves the same purpose that your grandfather used it for. The typical functions of a Swiss Army knife include a blade, scissors, nail file with screwdriver, and keyring. The more modern functions include a laser pointer and a Bluetooth remote control for Windows-only PC or laptop presentations. On top of all that, it also has a removable 32 GB USB drive. This drive has secure data encryption technology that allows users to protect important files and presentations since the only method of access is through the owners fingerprint. Other features include ECC and BCE error correction and AES and DES encryption capable. This Victorinox Swiss Army Presentation Pro is currently in mass production and is scheduled to be available in the US by the middle of May. The price starts at 9.95 for 8 GB of storage and goes up to 9.95 for 32 GB of storage.

i am going to switzerland this summer, and i have heard that green swiss army knives are not available to buy in any country other than switzerland. i was just wondering if this is true or not. i couldnt find any information on it on the internet!

Fire from Ice Lens

I decided to see if I could make a lens out of ice and actually use it to light a fire. I am not the first or last person to attempt it. Rob Bicevskis wrote an excellent article on the topic that can be found at www.wildwoodsurvival.com. Much of the techniques I present in this video were taken from that article. This is part one of a two part series. I wanted to see if this technique could be done with natural ice, natural tinder, and only a Swiss Army knife. The knife I used was my Victorinox Huntsman. This video covers the making of the ice lens.
