I usually carry around my multi tool or a fold-able knife in my pocket, since in comes in handy in my field of work. I believe my foldable knife would be called a single hand manual release and my multi tool is just a Swiss Army tool. I’ve recently became concerned about whether or not it is legal. Would they be classified as weapons in Canada? The blades are about 4 inches long.
Furthermore, I am not a minor if that makes a difference.

I want to bring one to school but I dont know if Ill get in trouble for it. I want to bring it because everyday my school goes to a park for P.E. and we have alot of spare time afterwards. Well I usually use a rock to sharpen this stick thing and I want to use a little knife to do it. Its nothing bad its just one that you would put in a survival kit that has like a cork opener and stuff.

I have two options right now, and I’m having a trouble deciding weather or not I should buy a Victorinox Swiss Army Tinker and Classic Knife Combo, for about 17$s. Which is a pretty good deal. Or a Leatherman 81040003K Squirt S4 Glacier Multitool with Small Scissors for 22$s. I’m buying it from Amazon, from the good source.

Here’s the link for both items.

Swiss Army Rucksack Knife Overview

An overview of the Swiss Army Rucksack Knife. This knife was given to me by my father several years ago, and it still looks good, despite being used almost every day for things. Compared to other knives it’s relatively inexpensive, and if you can do without the pliers, it’s a good alternative to a multi-tool.
