@shtfprepared You’ve been using this knife defensively for 3 months now? Seriously though, why don’t you go spend a few minutes punching a heavy bag with the “concealed” grip and let me know how that works out for your hand. And what you “think” you detect is actually called constructive criticism / my opinion. I’ll be more than happy to be proved wrong.
@shtfprepared Why are you such an angry person? You sure do like to talk about yourself… what does picking a fight on youtube of all places accomplish?
@PRSpl4yer ? Who’s angry? YOU? Did you read your comment? But I do get aggravated when jealous losers who haven’t done shit or have the creativity to do something DARE criticize someone who does. What does that make you? Where’s your custom knife? Show me your FEATURE article in Blade magazine….again-FAIL!
@ARCustomKnives You’re talking out of your ass so there is no point in this conversation. First. Hold it in your hand and then Maybe I’ll consider your critic. I Haven’t “punched” anything but I’m sure when and if the time comes the damage would be MUCH greater on the guy than the inside of my palm. Did you see the thickness? See the rounded edge that fits inside your hand like a glove? Obviously not.The tip would penetrate like butter. Can also SLASH very well, but you’re obviously jealous
@ARCustomKnives I went to your channel. You seem to be doing decent work so I don’t understand what your angle is here? As for your constructive criticism. saying it is useless is definately constructive in any way. an opinion, yes, constructive,NO. BTW it’s like me trying to give pointers to Leonardo Da Vinci….pros vs joes…get it?
@shtfprepared Relax there killer. You clearly didn’t read half of my “criticism” (And I’m not criticising Jason, I’m questioning a design for it’s intendid purpose of defense). I merely stated that if you were to hit something at a wrong angle with reduced motor skills (which since you’ve clearly never been in a defensive situation with a small object in your hand, you know nothing about) there SEEMED to be a potential for cutting yourself. Don’t take it so personally. It’s not your design.
For the record Jason, I’m not trying to criticize you… I was merely questioning a design. I meant no offense, and I’m not questioning your obvious skill and success as a knife maker. You’re clearly an artist as well as knife maker, and you’re designs are very appealing. I would like to see some videos of real life application to a few of your designs however. Including this one.
@shtfprepared I don’t have an angle. I was merely questioning a design that I was curious about. Perhaps I came off a bit abrasive? That wasn’t my intention. I never said that it was useless either. I merely questioned a specific application. As a fellow knife maker/designer, I have natural curiosities about certain designs and applications.
@shtfprepared You really have no idea who you’re talking to do you?
@shtfprepared It is way thicker than needed for such a short blade.
Obviously you are pretty full of yourself, enjoy your “fame” while it lasts. I don’t take offense, when ppl like you call me a retard.
@kaizoebara It’s all about the design, if you like it great! Buy it! If not… move along. It’s really just that simple.
@PRSpl4yer This is why you carry both. A neck knife is not a primary, it’s secondary or even a third or fourth option in some peoples cases. Yes a neck knife can shift or get pinned between you and the ground, car, wall or whatever. I’d say a fixed blade is a much better/quicker option to a folder in a self defense scenario. So, if you have a choice carry a folder and a fixed blade and perhaps a small neck knife.
@shaokem It’s not. If you put something up on YT, you put it up for discussion. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.
@kaizoebara really? you can’t just move on and find something else that you like better? Or perhaps make one your own? It’s really that hard for you to keep your opinions to yourself… hmmm ok.
@shaokem The whole point of the comments thing on YT is that you can voice your opinion about the vids or the stuff presented.
If you just want to be praised you might as well just switch on homeraresalon (Japanese website).
P.S. I’ve made a couple of knives and have used as well as collected even more.
@kaizoebara Again, it’s all about the design. If you like it great, if not move on. Your opinion is your own and perhaps few will agree. Just the same those who agree and yourself can just as easily move on or make your own knife and debut it in Blade magazine. All the best!!!
@shaokem Yeah, whatever. You keep being the fanboy that you are for now and maybe someday you’ll learn to cope with opposing ideas. Your whole behaviour kind of reminds me of a famous clip here on youtbe… watch?v=kHmvkRoEowc
@kaizoebara HAHA! dude… it’s simple. Either you like the design or you don’t.
@kaizoebara fanboy? I believe it’s kaizoebara who is unable to cope with the fact no one cares about his opinions.
A very cool knife. I ordered a Silent Soldier today. Have a nice day!
How would you rate this compared to the Hide-away knife (which is a bit more expensive?)
How much is this knife?
@Wasabirock55 $99
met you at the plaza show in CA this year. Nice guy, and nice designs. When i have a little extra funding, i’d like to pick up something of yours
