Is a gun the Ultimate Self-Defense Solution?

www.h2hprogram.com – Is a gun the ULTIMATE Street Fighting Solution? I just got an email from one of my subscribers telling me that the gun was the ultimate self-defense solution. My response to him and others is sure — a gun is great to have, carry and use if needed. But, let’s think about what using a gun in self-defense really means. First there are MULTIPLE types of self-defense. Here is how I would categorize some… and I’m sure you can think of others. 1. Survival Self-Defense — Zombie Apocalypse type of event ( a metaphor for when shit really hits the fan). Or simply WAR. This is where the progression of self-defense goes from… a. Long range weapon (rifle, bow & arrow, etc) b. Shotgun or Hand Gun c. Close Range Weapon (Club, Knife, etc) d. Hand to Hand Combat This is the ultimate self-defense scenario where you need to have ALL tools available. Hopefully, as civilians, you will never have to experience this type of event. As soldiers, police officers, etc — hopefully they do not have to experience this either; but this is what they are trained to handle. Where the H2H Program comes in is the hand to hand combat portion, it is the LAST line of protection 2. Home Invasion — Scary shit. This is where you want a close range defense weapon gun. The progression of self-defense would go… a. Shotgun or Handgun b. Close Range Weapon (Bat, Knife, weapon of opportunity) c. Both as a selfdefense expert, decorated combat veteran, and a security professional, Ive stopped counting the number of situations Ive seen where the unexpected happens and good guys and their families are made victims. The term self-defense might have quite uncommon in the past but now it has become the requirement of most of us. Since every person is different from other in ones thinking, perception and actions so in the same way different people have different point of views about self-defense. Some of the people have a point of view that self-defense training is not an essential thing to have a proper self-defense. They think that there are lots of ways that can help anyone to do ones self-defense. For example if you feel insecure and you are uncertain of what is going to happen with you while you are in your way to office then why dont you keep self-defense weapons with you to ensure your self-defense. This category of people does not give much importance to the self-defense training because they think that your self-defense is in your own hands and its just your level of confidence that matters in the critical situation and you with the help of your self-defense weapons can be
