My thoughts and views on the Victorinox Rally Swiss Army Knife. At just a little over 2 inches, Victorinox’s keychain Swiss Army knives have been a staple of many folks’ key rings for decades. They’re light, slim, easy to carry and pack a ton of useful features in a tiny package. Perhaps the most popular of all is the Classic model. However, I submit that the Rally model will very likely offer more utility at a very similar price. The Classic’s scissors probably won’t be missed — after all, the blade will very likely cover the majority of most folks’ cutting needs. However, the addition of a stout and effective bottle opener, Phillips screwdriver, and wire stripper offer a lot more bang for your buck in this reviewer’s opinion. (By the way, if you absolutely must “have it all”, look for the Victorinox Rambler, which blends the best of both worlds by including the scissors and screwdriver/bottle opener/wire stripper in an ever-so-slightly thicker package.)
