Wenger Giant Swiss Army knife

This Wenger Giant Swiss Army knife is so large it stores in an attache case. It has just about everything you would need, except for a roll of toilet paper. “Is that a Wenger Giant in your pocket, or are you just glad to see me?” Wenger, Switzerland. www.wengerna.com

The Victorinox Farmer pocket knife has the excellent looking Silver Alox Ribbed handles, which make for a very slim knife. The design is very eye grabbing, especially comparing it to the typical red Victorinox scales. The tools are simple, but highly effective. The standout tool is the Reamer – which creates a perfectly round hole in wood and also other similar materials. I even used it to drill out a lanyard hole in my Mora Bushcraft Knife. The typical bottle and can opener is included, as well as a standard flathead screwdriver (which has a wire stripper on it). The straight blade has a 2.5″ cutting edge on it. And last but not least is the wood saw. I have used mine to saw through 2-3″ wood branches with no problems. It definitely will not replace a dedicated wood saw, but it certainly will get the job done if it is all that you have. The drawback for me was that because of the slim scales, there is no tweezers or a toothpick. However that is a small price to pay for such a great knife. I think this would make a great companion knife for hiking, or even a great EDC knife. Thanks for watching, be safe, and Peace! Filmed with Canon SX230 HS camera.
